Outdoor Adventure at Our Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast

Wisconsin Bed and BreakfastThe variety of outdoor landscapes to be explored in Wisconsin is unbeatable. From hiking along dramatic bluffs, exploring waterfalls and mighty rivers, fishing on the majestic Great Lakes, and hiking through acres of pristine forests and lakes, there aren’t very many states that can boast such great diversity for the outdoor enthusiast.  In a state that boasts more than 25,000 miles of snowmobile trails, 700 miles of cross country ski trails, and 445 runs at 30 downhill ski and snowboard areas, we find boredom impossible and outdoor adventure possibilities limitless during the winter.  When you stay with us at our beautiful and secluded Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast, all of the wonderful outdoor opportunities our state has to offer will be just minutes from your front door.

Our Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast is a quiet, secluded inn, nestled in a private wooded area near West Bend, Wisconsin.  With plenty of months of snowfall, Wisconsin is the perfect place to embrace the winter weather.  Step outside into one of our many local or State Parks for an afternoon of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or winter hiking.  We all feel some sense of cabin-fever in the deep winter months.  What better way to beat this than by strapping on a pair of skis for a refreshing trek across the crisp, white snow?  If you’re new to winter sports, then snowshoeing is an easy way to get out and explore spaces and places touched by few others.

Get Outside

At Hidden Serenity Bed and Breakfast, we value adventure and time spent together, and look forward to sharing these passions with our guests.  Nearby, you’ll find some of our favorite spots to get outside and enjoy nature at its finest. Pick your favorite activity, whether it’s running, hiking, climbing, snowshoeing, skiing, or just taking in all nature has to offer; you could easily spend days on Wisconsin’s trails.  For some beautiful trails across wetland marshes, sand dunes, fields, and woodlands, head out to Kohler-Andrae State Park.  During the winter, there is also a gently sloping 2 mile long cross-country ski trail that will take you through the wooded areas and along unplowed roadways, in addition to a couple of ungroomed snowshoeing trails.  Lose yourself for a day as you wander down the 10 miles of trails at Riveredge Nature Center, or see the glacial history of Wisconsin first hand as you explore along the extensive network of trails that makes up the Ice Age Trail.  No matter where you go, a day spent on these beautiful Wisconsin Trails will give you a sense of both physical and mental rejuvenation.  Come home to our comfortable Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast to relax in front of our beautiful antique fireplaces and luxurious accommodations.  We look forward to your stay!
