Blackwolf Run Golf Course in Kohler, Wisconsin

Northeast of Hidden Serenity Bed and Breakfast is the village of Kohler, Wisconsin. The Kohler family has become famous for their championship golf courses after being known worldwide as the company that makes some of the finest kitchen and bath fixtures. The first of their courses was built in 1988, designed by Pet Dye, one of the greatest golf architects. Perhaps the best part of Blackwolf Run Golf Course is that they didn’t just create one 18 hole course in the Sheboygan River valley, but instead made two full 18 hole courses.

For years Blackwolf Run has been the site of championship golf including the Anderson World Golf Championships from 1995-1997 and the US Women’s Open in 1998 and again in 2012. As other, newer courses have come into the picture the last two decades, Blackwolf has matured into a fantastic course that just gets better each year.

A special feature of Blackwolf Run is the availability of private golf lessons, golf clinics and golf school at the Kohler academy. This is a great way to make sure you make the most of your round at one or both of the courses. The instruction comes with great club professionals and high tech equipment. You will be able to see your swing and go through video analysis with the pro teaching you ways to improve your game. Perhaps you will play the round of your life after learning from the pros!

Blackwolf Run has a great restaurant with the same name as the course featuring grilled cuisine while overlooking the 18th hole greens of both the River course and the Meadow Valley course. It is perfect setting after playing 18 or 36 holes of some of Wisconsin’s finest golf holes.
