Shalom Wildlife Zoo in West Bend Wisconsin is the area’s premier wildlife viewing experienc
e. During the late fall and early winter season they host a great event that you are sure to enjoy.
The Shalom Wildlife Holiday Drive-Thru the Zoo is billed as “A Journey to the North Pole”. This year it starts on November 22 and runs through December 29. The tour is a three-mile loop through the wildlife area and you can stay in the warmth of your own vehicle the whole time.
Along the way, you will see huge stockings and special messages from Santa as well. There are treasures for all as you drive through the zoo. You will see many animals in a much more natural setting than you would see at any of the city zoos in the area. deer, elk, bison and wolves are a few of the animals you are likely to see on your tour. And new this year are the adorable black bear cubs. They have been a hit all summer!
