While most of EAA AirVenture’s events will center on planes and flight, there are also a number of events rolled into the week that anyone, even those less interested planes, will find exciting. Sunday night, AirVenture is hosting a movie night. On Monday, there will be an aerobics class, and there will even be church services and nightly concerts.
Of course, there will be workshops about welding, the best kind of metal for building planes, how to restore vintage aircraft, and just about anything and everything else having to do with both commercial, personal, and military planes. Events will display new technology, updates to old technology, and inspire and amaze aviation buffs, former pilots, current pilots, and anyone who loves to fly! Tours, classes, and speakers provide a variety of experience for those who want to learn and also be engaged in the topic. The air shows that happen throughout the event will amaze anyone!
Hidden Serenity is located south of the event and a not so long drive. When you’re through touring vintage airplanes, learning how to build your own, or watching the air shows, you can come back to your home for the week and enjoy a walk through the peaceful woods or a nap on our ultra-comfortable beds.
Here at Hidden Serenity, we love EAA AirVenture. The variety of events planned draws people from all over the country, and the entire week is as fun as it is educational. For more information about the schedule of events check out their website www.eaa.org
