A quaint theater can be found on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Washington County in West Bend just west of highway 45 and South of Highway 33 on University Drive. During the Winter months of 2015 two fun shows will be taking place, one a play and the other a concert.
In January the West Bend Musical Masquers present “The Miss Firecracker Contest”. Dubbed a hilarious experience the play takes place on a nice variety of dates. On December 31st, 2014 there is a buffet available prior to the play. The 2015 showings take place on January 2, 3, 9, 10 and 11. Treat yourself to some serious laughing at this amazing play.
Later in the month, the music group “Close To You- Music of the Carpenters” takes the stage at the UW-Washington County Theater. Honoring the music group, founded by Karen and Richard Carpenter. Lisa Rock has a voice that is very similar to Karen Carpenter and any fans of the Carpenters are sure to enjoy the show.
